a note from our pastors

We’re excited to be reaching out with an invitation to our annual Summer Youth Camp! This camp was started nearly 20 years ago by Dr. Michael and Pastor Diana Jacobs, and it is our honor to continue to host this camp experience. Summer Youth Camp (SYC) is near and dear to our hearts and is a huge priority in what God has called our church to do. Through the years, we’ve seen hundreds of middle and high school students come to know Jesus, be baptized, and receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit. Our team works diligently year-round to curate an atmosphere where young people can experience God’s presence and power in a personal way. We believe that youth and young adults are not the “church of tomorrow”— they’re a vital part of our church today. We would be honored to have your youth and leadership team join us for this amazing event.

With love,

Pastors Jordan and Morgan Jacobs

the heart of syc

SYC is an experience designed to provide a place for middle and high school students to encounter God in an environment that is safe and outrageously fun. Our SYC team works year-round to make sure that this event is impactful and memorable for all who attend. We know that when we take time to meet with God in a dedicated environment, miracles happen. SYC is a place where students find freedom, receive healing, and experience the unconditional love of God. Each year, we hear story after story from students’ whose lives were changed at SYC. The atmosphere at this event is truly special and we are filled with gratitude for what God does every year!

what to expect at SYC

SYC is a three day, four night event held at the Country Lake Christian Retreat Center in Underwood, Indiana. Middle and high school students, as well as youth pastors and youth leaders/volunteers are invited to attend. Students attend morning and evening sessions each day with worship and speakers. In between sessions, the days are filled with team competitions, lake activities, and more. All attendees are housed in dorms, and all activities, sessions, and meals take place onsite. At our 2023 SYC, we had six different churches represented and 130 attendees.
